How much will the 5l co2 cylinder alone cost? I'm using a 2l cylinder now, thinking of saving the trouble of having to refill, so have to consider a 5l cylinder.[]

$120 for 5L, if you buy 2L from NA, they can do upgrade by pay the difference + little premium ($10?)

Not just trouble, 5L and 2L charge the same for refill $15

Sorry can't answer you that i haven't used the co2 yet! Cos these few days touring the whole Singapore LFS, finding the perfect tank, light, CO2, tank, plants, driftwood etc. Plants not in yet, thinking of going down to Teo's on Sat (that's the problem with working weekdays).

Oh yeah who is the real Mr Chan? The old man or the younger fat man? The latter told me use atomiser enough for my 2 ft tank already, no need reactor. What can the reactor do for you? And really true that i dun need reactor? Please advise...

co2 tank size is independent of your fish tank size.
it depends on your affordability, how frequent you are wish to top up, available space to keep your co2 tank and etc.....
get the biggest tank you can afford and have space for. so a 5l tank should be good enough.

Also take note that the CO2 tank is made of steel (cheaper one) which weighs quite a bit. Getting one that very BIG will be very heavy. An empty 5L tank weighs about 7kg. Bear this in mind when cos you're going to be carrying that weight all the way to the gas topping up point.

Getting a smaller tank means that your topping up frquency will be more. You decide.
    Cheers!!

NA = Nature Aquarium ... opposite Thomson Medical Centre. They offering a good range of cylinder sizes ... top up is 1 to 1 exchange ... plus other acessories U might be interested in. They might have a package for the acessories like bubble counter, reactor & etc.

    Hi,

if u are paying 190 for a Solenoid and 2L tank, why dont top up 10 dollars more for a 3.5L tank plus same solenoid and u have about 1.5 times the CO2 each time u top up and the size not much difference...the 5L one got difference in height...the 3.5L so cute and same height as 2L but fatter in diameter
