info on eheim 2211 accessories?

to all eheim 2211 users,

i'm keen to get a 2211 but i'm concern that the inlet 'hook' pipe wont be able to 'sit' onto the edge of tank as it has a 3-3.5 cm thick pvc frame on the top. can anyone advise me on the width of the space between the hook of the pipe?

and also i'd like to know how long are the spray & inlet pipes and whats the best way to cut it should it be too long. the dimensions of my tank is 30L x 20W x 30H.

guess the correct term for 'hook pipe' i was referring to is the 'curved elbow joint'
