I gotten a bag and sad to say only a few are solid.
It is similar to the earlier batches thst he sold.
So it varies for each bag.
Choose carefully.

yah, i spent 10 minutes looking thru the last 3 packet left last saturday. and i choose the packet becaust there is this three which is in dark red.

I was there and got 1 packet last week. all the packs were solid red. There are 2 different fire red uncle is selling. I think the smaller ones are the usual fire red uncle selling at two red note. The ones we have got is much bigger and much more pricy. The one you got it for how much? It might be the usual fire red.
It is the taiwan fire red batch that my friend took for me.

Yea eviltrain..it was jacked up! i went there today and it was out of stock..he said stock will be here on sat at 1pm+...someone already reserved 200 pieces from him...

I happened to be in the area so took a look. Go down and see, if you're not too late..should still have good ones.
i think that the first batch he brought is is the best. most are very red and heavily bellied. my tank is full of fire red shrimplets now. at least 100s of them

Was unable to make a trip over...prob can only go on saturday...sad
The problem with fire red shrimplets is that they seemed to be mostly lower quality compared to the parents...
Some are even wild cherry colored! I'm starting to think that they were either intentionally crossed with wild/cherry prior to shipping, or the genes are just not stable and what we get as TFR are just handpicked out of the cream of the crop from a much much larger colony. I don't quite trust even the reddish males that came from berried TFRs anymore...
