Using used n new soil for setup

I intend to use power soil S as base with used Ada 2nd layer and top with new gex.
It's a 2 1/2 feet tank with normal angels and mix cories.
Plants will be crypts and needle ferns.
This setup are using existing items and new power soil.

Is this ok especially the mix soil?
Fishes put in pail with airstone can l put them backinto tank after water cleared like 1 day since l will be using same old tank water or need to cycle tank again?

I think the soil mix is alright, but there could be an ammonia spike when you redo the scape right?

I suggest doing a 50% large water change!

That means need put fishes into holding tank and do proper cycling of the tank, old dear.

Dont know way i mix the old soil with new soil on top now my tank go head wire... Water is not clear after many time of water changes... And i rescape the tank more worst.. If can is good to use all new soil...

last time i used old as base for building up the landscape thickness and add new on top layer. no problem after re-scape.
