    No la... its your tank what..so you can do what you want with it. What i mean is only telling you to be careful with that last statement, just stating that it is not a factual statement and there may be more factors involved when you finally decide to to the switch, and may or may not be a little more challenging.

    Ah. I have set up low tech tank right from the start for my father and not even a speck of algae until now (6 months) but then I am unsure about such a huge tank haha. If kana headache. Cause I read Diana Walstad. She was saying if want to set up low tech, then from the start has to have lots of fish for carbon.

    If not mistaken, it take time for plants to adjust to new light intensity. During that time anything can happen

    Do you think if I just use 1.9 w/g for moss and fern tank it would be sufficient?
