Dear fellow brothers, i recently found some white spot on my cardinal tetras... I've applied medicine for white spot into the tank and for the past 2 days, there are no improvement. When i first found white spot on my tetras, its when i just got back from holidays and by that time, there are quite a number of them infested by it. Mne is a planted tank with cardinal tetras, some fire red shrimps and cherry shrimps. Please advise... Thanks alot
Some informations that will be need from you.
1) How big is your tank.
2) How many fish and shrimps
3) Water Parameter
4) Temperature of Tank
5) Did you add in any new fish or Shrimp lately?
I suspect it might be ich.

Hi, thanks for your reply... I've tried raising the temp of the tank as well as adding salt to the tank. The white spots are now gone from the fishes. Thanks for your help anyway
Glad to hear that those white spot are gone.
Do please let us know the how many gallon of water in your tank, the temperature you raise to and how much salt you added.
The information will help those who might encountered the same problem in the future.
mine is only a i.5ft tank... salt wise, i've only added one teaspoon full of it into my tank. as for temperature, i've raised it to around 30 plus degrees from my original temperature of 27 degrees c
