    Hi Guys!

    2ft Planted--

This was taken early June... i recently redo the front lawn ; replaced E.Tenellus with Glosso.

Would appreciate comments and tips to improve please.

    Thanks!

That's onefinetank you have there... I like the bare foreground (looks bare from the size of the pic)... makes a good counterpoint to the dense planting in the back. Perhaps a few bare medium rocks along the edges between the plants and gravel could make things a bit more interesting.

Somehow, there's still a lack of a primary focus, but I can't think of anything to help.

I hope you submit this for the competition.

"Bare Look"[] You mean in line with the latest "Amano Look"... I sort of refer that to the Islands Look; Like the sandy shore on the Southern Islands of Singapore...

Unfortunately, the Toninas are no more,
I failed with that,[] They really need low PH.
Now there's a spattering of Glosso covering the front. However you're right, I like of felt something is lacking which is why I post thi. Do you think the E. Stellata is abit too much for this small tank, perhaps, something with small leaves, like Rotala Indica or Ludwigia Arcuata would be better?[:]

    More comments would be appreciated...

fei miao, must say you got a very impressive tank, reminds me of amano [] perharps you like to put in place of those tonina, a mid level plant which would follow the sloping effect... have you enter this tank for our competition yet? please do, like to see more varities of aquascaping members used and also send in a big picture[]

    FM,

I'm not sure the E. stellata is wrong... it looks fine to me in the picture. My gut feel is that the focus should be something right in front of them but shorter. Even if you replace the E. stellata with something more brighter, you'll need something mid-ground in front of that group to break the monotony of beach.
