Any advise?
I 'm growing some plantlet of Nymphaea micrantha in my balcony pond. What I do is I took a 7inch diameter planting pot and filled up with 3inch thick of horti potting mix and 1inch thick of GEX substrate (red packet) and plant the Nymphaea micrantha plantlet. The pot is now inside my minipond and there is still about 4inch height of water covering the pot. My pond has about 2hrs of direct sunlight. I keep some aguppies and some sakura shrimps in my pond.
It is about 2weeks and my Nymphaea micrantha is showing sign of melting with holes on the leaves.
My question would be, will putting JBL fertilizer ball help the plant to grow back into healthy state, or should I plant new one with the fertilizer ball?
Many thanks~
Any advise?
Quite difficult to pinpoint the problem because as usual, we need to understand all the water parameters, match it to the plant's requirements and narrow down the possibilities of the root of problem.
2 hours of photoperiod seems short.![]()
Thanks, I'll have started inserting the JBL fertilizer ball already. I'll monitor for a week or 2 to see if the plant is growing any better![]()
My Nymphaea micrantha is slowly recovering and growingWill attempt to get the "Thai packaging" fertilizer specialize for lotus this weekend and hope it will grow insanely
