Teco or artica chiller for 3 feet tank

Hi guys, i planning to set up a new 3 ft planted tank. Currently looking at chiller from teco and artica. Which one will you vote for? Which one is more quieter? I know the new teco is made in china.

No one vote for teco yet. By the way, colourful using teco, i heard it... Its quite slient too. But made in china....

I vote for Artica again for several reasons:

1. Efficiency which translates to lower costs in the long run
2. Very silent
3. Highest resale value
4. Great track record

Opps sorry for the lousy english. I mean i was there physically at the shop listening to the sound. Very Quiet. I know artica also very quiet. But i never heard them side by side before.

So guys, for 3 feet tank, which model of artica and teco will you recommand? Can list down the price here for comparison? Cheerio!!

Erm I think if you google online you will find that there is quite a huge disparity in prices

Artica is the best and is very well built....Teco is reasonable..Shadow and myself use Teco in aquarama and it doesnt seems that noisy there but i recall TCY81 told me the noise is noticeable at home..

Look for the after sales service when choosing branded chiller. Don't forget to get 1 model up than what you need due to the hot months that are coming.
