I happen to stumble on an article about the dry start method (DSM) by Tom Barr. Appears to have several advantages over the conventional submerged method. I am sure many of the members here are familiar with this method. The absence of discussion pertaining to this method seem to suggest that this method has its drawbacks. Is there more to it than what i have read. Any members here tried this method before. Care to share your experience as I am planning to try out the DSM.

Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
