    LOL. Resun cl450 flowrate is?

one tank is doing 2 partition another doing 3 partition. Soil will be partition also. so that less soil will be needed and look neater. haha

trying to get a external overflow system that you said before. brand is skimz.

    cl450 flow rate is <1200LPH.

why never drill your tank? easier to manage too.

Bro Newlife, thanks for promoting my DIY skill around hor.. hahaha.
For soil, you can either go for ADA Amazonia Soil I, ADA Amazonia Soil II or Silane's Soil( sound so wrong, sorry master Silane)

Ya, go for ADA Amazonia Soil, it is a good soil. I have no more excess soil for sales.

Get an external temperature probe for your chiller.

DW can try biotope or NA at thompson.

Chiller depends on your budget ba. If no budget constraint, teco would be a good choice. If not Resun or Hailea ba.

Well if you have budget constraint, check out the forum for second hand chiller, which is much cheaper... if I am not wrong Bro eviltrain has a spare cl450 put on sales, you might want to check with him.

Re: New shrimp tank coming soon..

Go for Amazonia II (there's this chart whereby it says it has less nitrates or nitrites can't really remember).

    Chiller can get second hand

Re: New shrimp tank coming soon..

Yeah will try to look for a good condition chiller in the 2nd hand market with external probe.

Do you all think it is ok to use cl650 to chill instead of cl450?
