nice and mini aquascape PaperCut.. but from what i know its not wise to keep crs (especially good grades) in such a small tank, because small tanks are susceptible to fluctuations in properties, which crs do not tolerate well.. i can imagine this tank to be nice for a betta, but take note betta love shrimps on their dining plate so don't mix..

I agree too. Also, you might want to downsize your hardscape, you need some space in your tank.

    Hi Xianghao,

Thanks for the advice. Can't resist the beauty CRS .
If the CRS can't do well, probably back to cherries.

I love betta too but CRS is just too much to resist.

There are actually quite a lot of space in between the dw. The CRS can actually explore through the "tunnels" in between. Thanks for the advice.

Its was actually quite frustrating to scape for this tank as i can only use 1 hand to scape it, 2 hands hard to squeeze in.

the narrow java ferns do grow rather long and the windelov might grow upwards and block off the inlet. more moss will certainly make the crs more welcome..overall nice tank
The role of master and servant begin to cloud in the water..

Update on the tank. Added a Iceprobe Chiller to cool water for fissiden and CRS

Got the iceprobe with temp controller to set temp at 24.8 degree.

Some tank mates. After installing the iceprobe, then like to roam around more.

Roughly around 7inch by 5inch, the white probe will go into the water only. Mounting is easy for me as i just rest it on my overflow and the probe just stick into the water. No drilling of holes in the tank require for me.

Hi, sorry for the late response. Been busy with work and was having flu

The fissiden was quite lush and green when i first got them. after 2 weeks, they are still the same. I have been dosing excel daily and seachem flourish weekly. With the iceprobe maintaining my temp at 24.5degree. Weekly WC of 30%.

Now reduce excel to dosing on alternate days and took out the overflow pump and replace with a Eden 501 small canister filter as protein film start building up on my water surface.
