Can Shrimp Tonic cure disease?
I thought it only help to build the immune system but dont think can cure bacteria disease..

i have the same problem for a batch of new sss from a bro here stayed in jurong west.

i bought 10 from him and now left about 5. and the color super dark. sometime look like black color. some of my other crs also get affected and about 5 of them gone. 2 pcs day by day.. not sure what i can do.

water parameter very good:
GH:6
KH:4
PH:6.8

no copper.. nitrate nitrite all in good range.

so my conclusion is this is diseases

Neutral81 and you bought from the same shop or person??? If it is from the same shop or person...it should be the disease from the same source...

I think you should check it out from the shop or seller...if they meet the same problem.

Hi All,

Just came back from my Ict not to long ago.
unfortunately i do not have the luxury to receive any help at this moment.
I suspect its due to me feeding expired food which caused the disease or perhaps bad water conditions.
Still trying to source out a cure for this "black spot disease"
I do apologize to have done harm to fellow Neurtal81 and Rich and have stopped all sales or giving away after i known it was a disease and have confined them already.

Could you state the LFS you sold yr shrimps to so ( if any ) we can track a certain source of them whether they are infected anot.
Till now when i ask some LFS none knows about this disease .
I dont think beginners setting up new tank kena this disease will be happy.( None forumer shrimp keepers. )

Just to help you keep track
About a month a go which I got a batch of SSS shrimp from you, does not show any sign of this issues. But will closely monitor them and keep you updated.

Hope you can find a quick remedy fast to ave all your shrimp.

Did you get any shrimps? Or are there any vector that you might have brought back to your place? If you merely went to his place and take look, it's impossible for spreading to occur. Sorry, but it seems that there are some over-paranoia over here.

One piece of painted fire red died does not means anything to do with this cases. These fat females shrimps are very easily to die if they are not handle properly. There are 101 reason shrimps died
