Re: Weird coloration to my Crs

so now is there already a confirmed cure for this disease? luckily, i was so close to being infected by this ordeal. luckily i pondered on getting more shrimps. i think this incident best describes why the ava is so strict to import shrimps and etc. i guess now we can also understand the need for quarantine overseas livestock in government bodies. hopefully, all bros who's shrimps are down on this disease can learn the importance of quarantine and good luck.

The spots are small in the beginning and grow bigger as bacteria destroy cells. Have a closer look on the legs and the antennas of your shrimp: they look whiter then general and the first antennas look shorter.

Re: Weird coloration to my Crs

I have done some experiments on how fast the black spots would pass on.

I have put 3 shrimps (1 infected crs. 1 Normal Crs, 1 BDS) into a container of its own and monitor each day.

    Steps i have taken.
1)transferred the 3 shrimps to a different tank.
    2) added more aeration
    3) added some concentrated Benefical bacteria ( B4 and ADA bacter 100)

Shrimps were first introduced into my tank on 7/7/10 but as i was pretty busy this week the pictures were taken on 8/7/10.

    Observations
So far my infected shrimp's colour have turned more red and the non - infected have shown no signs of being infected but will still monitor over the next 2 weeks.

    is this one counted??
only this has the spots, all the rest of the shrimps dont have.
this is another tank, nothing is shared between the 2 tanks.
