cherry barb compatible with cherry shrimps?

My cherry shrimps seems always hide in a corner of a tank under moss and only comes out at night when the lights are off, i wonder is it becoz of cherry barbs?

i got
3ft tank
6 cherry barbs
20+ cherry shrimps
10 small cardinal tetras
2 panda cory
2 oto

i don't see my cherry barbs attacking them when they are out but the shrimps seems only come out when the lights are off. Could it be the cherry barbs? (3x the size of my cherry shrimp)
