Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

As I read somewhere that gsa is due to low phosphate level so I am wondering if I'm able to use seachem phosphorous for it?

Yes you can.

KH2PO4 is a lot cheaper. SeaChem PO4 is mostly water, with a tiny bit of KH2PO4 in it.
2-4ppm, I add about 4-5ppm 2-3x a week myself.
I have no GSA.
The other issue might be CO2 is slightly off, under dosed.
Make sure you have good current and O2 before adjusting CO2 and do so slow and carefully and watch.

Been started using phosphorous seachem but results still ain't there. The green spot algae still keeps coming back. May be due to my lack of co2 but I'm already dosing 2.5 ml of seachem excel (daily) and 1.5ml of seachem phosphorous (weekly). Wonder if I'm overdosing as I do not have a test kit for my 40cm low tech tank. Anyone has got any idea? Thanks. Or should I be dosing the phosphorous more often?
Seachem Excel no count as CO2They are just supplement to me.
You need the real CO2 injection

But are they enough for a low tech tank? I see my mosses growing well though. Was wondering if hairgrass can be suitable for my low tech tank with only seachem. Any idea?
hairgrass is a high maintenance plant as far as i know. seachem excel is not sufficient to spur growth
