Moss ID please :)

Hi guys, please help me ID my moss. I bought this labeled as "Christmas moss." Just want to verify it. Thanks!

This moss should be Christmas Moss.

The truth is Christmas Moss looks exactly like Singapore Moss. No one can tell the difference, not even the professor who was the person who identified both mosses. The only way to know for sure is through DNA fingerprinting.

Fish shop owners in Singapore are reluctant to use the "Singapore Moss" name because the name does not sell.

That said, I would say your moss looks like Java Moss to me.

I think what you have is probably Spiky Moss (Taxiphyllum sp).

Yes it looks like spikey moss to me too.
