Eheim Surface Skimmer PN:3535

Anyone use the above before? I have one right now but seems can to get it to work perfectly. Everytime I fit this on, the is alot of bubbles coming out from the rain bar.

Care to share with me. Else I have to sell it away and making a lost again...[]

FND, i think it's sucking in too much air, please adjust your skimmer till you dont see any bubbles from your output

Hi Simon,

I did as the instruction manual, shich state that the suction must be at a 45deg angle. Can't seem to get it right! Do you use the same product now or before? You encounter any problem?

Be careful with this product,especially if you have small fishes/shrimps. The surface inlet is known to be a death trap.

nope, but it should follow the same concept as other brands. I have heard some problems related to this skimmer

1) like benny pointed out, the inlet is a death trap for fishes (use a net)
2) inlet doesnt follow the level of the water automatically, have to manually adjust
