Help on moss

Hi all,

Have a problem with moss. Understand that mosses like taiwan or christmas moss grow out to form triangle fronds. The christmas moss in my tank does not grow into this triangle fronds and it just keep on getting thicker n thicker. Is there any speficic requirement when growing them?

Current tank condition:

2 ft tank with 1 ft height
2bps of CO2 injection
20-30% Water change 2 time a week
Water temperature about 26oC
pH about 6
GH/KH never measure

KH is abt 3, GH is more than 30. DOes this affect the growth pattern? I added alot of coral chips to bring up the pH of the water

Raymond, I think one probable reason your Christmas Moss does not throw out triangular fronds is it isn't Christmas Moss at all but something else.

when i bought it, it was growing triangle fronds.
