    Hi there,
When I add in Seachem Marine Buffer, it grew white patches on my tank (all 4 sides), I tried rubbing it away wif my finger, hard sponge, boiling water, soap...all also no use..seem tat the white patches can only be removed via fingernails scrubbing...

*its a 2ft tank n wif no livestock in it cos I only started to cycle it, i have achieved the req'd salt level and was trying to get the optimum PH level.

Appreciate if anyone could shed some advise on how to remove away the white thingy..thanks

during cycling, u dun have to add any more supplements or so, coz after the tank is matured, u have to remove 50% of the water and replace it, then u add supplements. u can consider using razor blades to remove the stuff

so which means after a couple of weeks when the tank is empty with only sand and saline and going to add live rock and other stuff in , i have to change 50 % of the water first?
