    Hi all,

Just wondering, if you only have 1 (or maybe 2) test kits to check on your water parameters, which one will you carry out for CRS rearing?

(indicate 1 and 2 in priority next to the parameter)

    a. pH
    b. KH
    c. GH
    d. Ammonia
    e. NO3
    f. NO2

    others?

The only test I'd skip is the KH test. All others are very useful. Most important are pH and NO2 if you tank has been running for a while.

Once tank is stabilised only test kit i will use is GH n PH, these 2 being the most likely to be variables during w/c

Thanks guys. I vaguely recall reading in this/or ShrimpNow forum that once the tank stabilises, pH is the only thing to test for as GH+KH values "follow" the pHs..

I don't have any data/experience to back this up. Is this true?
