One of the more difficult to sex fish. Looks like a pair from the looks of the caudal extension. Good luck bro!

okok, it does matter.. my bet is that if they are both of the same sex, they probably won't "pair up" and live in peace.

Of course it matters. Because when they are in breeding mood. They are even more beautiful!

Expensive but having fatal attraction stuff. Please don't post anymore of this.
So far they only court once in a while. Apart from that, all they do is eat...
They are actually very easy to keep fishes. I once had a disease outbreak and all the apistos got wiped out except these guys. Very hardy fishes and not fussy on food too.
You probably need to pull down the pH to incite them to breed.
