This tank has had a few different foreground plants, this one is easy to keep, but the methods are similar for HC, Gloss, Hair grass, clover, Microswords, Ech tennellus etc.

    The sequence is moving forward

Scissors are used to cut much like a lawn.

I left the back row of plants to show the depth and the prune so the slope is maintained.

Same tank above 3 weeks later.

4 weeks later below, time to trim again.

    Regards,

    Hello.

Thanks for sharing. I have a few questions though:

Do you do any uprooting during the trimming? Or simply cut horizontally across the stems?

I noticed this is for stemmed plants, how about rosette plants like hairgrass and ET? Do we trim horizontally also or do we need to do some uprooting to prevent the build up of stalks?
