What is the cheapest setup and maintenance for CRS?

For tropical weather, is the chiller a must?
For cold weather, is the heater a must?

    Filtration system a must???

I think basic filtration is a must and preferred to maintain a temperature between 23-27.

cheapest setup is probably just a bucket and some water, but no guarantees that your CRS will survive.

I know RCS can survive that, do not think CRS will.

If you wants to do the small tank, you need lower grade Crs,ada soil, add bb to kick start, should be able to survive in office environment. Cross your finger.

yesh. but, there's no problem getting SSS grade in a attap house too. the question is, will a water parameter sensitive shrimp survive in such a harsh environment (no proper filtration) ?

How about natural eco-system for filtraion?
Never thought of SSS, A or S is good enough.
