Just add a timer if you're going for the chiller to prevent it from turning on when the A/C is on.

Some light green plants would add some depth IMO.

Hahaha. Yeah, actually i decided to leave it as it is for the mean time and let the plants flourish, many of you may ask why i decided to leave the foreground empty.

Well i guess, i have been doing Planted tanks for so many years, and i always plant my foreground so for this setup i decided to do something different.

    More updates coming soon.

Just a update of the tank from this evening.
Cleaned up the Lily Pipes, and balance out the left side of the tank with some mosses.

IMO, I think you put it in too organize manner. I mean, now as if the left side are a mirror of the right

i have mild OCD. everything has to be balanced otherwise i will feel its strange.

BTW, am considering getting a pair of Macrostomas to inhabit the tank but just not sure if its a good idea cause it currently does not have a lot of hiding places.
Any macrostoma experts here has any advise?

Betta macrostoma ? There is no country for guru than juilian75. He spawn it. I think he spawn with the illegal exported Brunei wild fishes.. haha.. that certainly up the standard several bars. now school reopen - you probably need to pm him.

Updates from this week, added a new red plant at the back, not sure whats the name of the plant, its a red fern like plant that is similar to the bolbotis shape.

Loving how it adds some colour to the tank now and improving the contrast, gonna drop by C328 and see if they have another handful of it later in the evening.

i think the scape would benefit from a little trimming of the mosses. Right now, because of how closely the woods are to each other a little growth from the mosses will cloud/adhere the shapes that make this scape so pleasing. For example, if you look on the left side.. there are actually 2 separate woods sticking out into the air.. right now.. it looks like one big mass of moss if we don't look carefully. Scapes like these are pleasing to the eye but may require vigorous trimming to maintain its look. Alternatively, just trim 1 week before the final shot loh..haha..

You'll need a cover if you want to keep macrostoma. They jump

Totally agree Bro, i was just looking at it last night and felt the mosses are converging to look like its just a big piece of wood with moss.
Guess its time for the scissors!

Decided i won't put the macrotoma in this tank after some thought, probably maybe for my next project.

Oh anyway, i am already been running a chiller for this tank since 2-3 weeks ago. Got a Arctica 1/15 to keep the tank cool in the day.
I must say its really doing a good job and keeping silent at the same time.
