If your australe have tankmates that eat flakes readily, crush some to bite size. I recall that non-annuals can be trained to rush for mini pellets when they're hungry enough. Do a search for Tim Addis's pellets... it's really good stuff!!
Hi! Does anyone feed flakes to their Orange Australes? I tried feeding my micro pallets with no success. Even Freeze Dried Tubifex Worms doesn't work as well. Any suggestions?
Cheers!

is there any shops in sg specialised in killis?
I feed my australe flake at least once a day and they do eat it. I feed a mix of breeder flake and spirulina flake. they also take microgranulates.
oh! Are these commercialized food that i can buy at a LFS or you concocted it yourself? Do you have any exact names for the flakes you using? thanks!
Cheers!

Hello,
I'm sorry but I don't know the exact name of the flake. They are imported in bulk from Germany from a friend. I would guess any brine shrimp flake would work well, even just an ordinary high quality flake food or micro granulate. I know the micro granulate sold by Tim Addis works very well: http://www.ta-aquaculture.co.uk/ (click on "granular").
Best of success with the australe.
