anybody knows how much nature aquarium charges to upgrade a double 2ft FL lamps to double PL?

This would be a rather difficult question to answer as it depends on the kind of ballast that you want.....give Chan a call would be the best answer to your question.

Have you tot of diying it yourself? If cost and travelling is a concern to you, DIY is much better and more fun.

The diffrence maybe which ballast used. Electronic ballast will definately cost more. Care to confirm?

I'm new to PL!

Juz wondering if the E-ballast of the PL offered by Nature is good? Good in the sense that it does not flicker, it lasts. Another thing, it has no problem fitting other brands of PL tubes as long as they are standard ratings. Thanks!

There are many types of E-ballast, are they PSB tested with the Sticker? Better be safe cos dealing with electricity.

Just upgraded it recently, so dun know if it last anot but it never flicker from wat i see.

I just figured it out (me damn blur), CT's modification is single PL for $40 and qwe123r's is double PL for $70 which I think the price is very good.
