    Does anyone know where to get cheap 3.5 feet FL? I tried several electrical shops, but no luck. Apparently, S'pore does not use such tubes.

    3.5' fl tubes are not common.
    common ones are 2' and 4'.
    guess you'll have to pay a premium for those aquaria tubes.

    an alternative solution, convert to pl tubes.
