Well, first off i must welcome myself back amongst AQ as its been probably well over a year since i've been on here properly. This thread is basically an update into, what was a 1" juvi EBJD back in October 2008. Well he's all grown up now nearly 2 years on. First off a little reminder how he was back in his juvi days

Well i wish he was that cute still now I had an EBJD female, but she died shortly after buying the pair. Well, i couldnt leave him alone so i did go back and i bought 3 juvi female regular strain JD's and placed them in the tank with my male (he was 4" to there 1" at the time), so i had a divider in the tank to let them grow up. He then picked his choice of the three females as his partner and they began breeding. In the last 12 months they have bred 3 times, and the 3rd occasion i managed to get fry...but they subsequently went missing. I have clown loach, and a big plec in the tank with them. So before i breed them again properly i'll have to remove all other fish and dedicate the tank to them (my plan for the coming months). So now i have a 6/7" male EBJD and his breeding partner, a 4/5" female JD. Pics to follow.

    Male EBJD 6/7"

    Female JD 4/5"

She wasnt to fond of the camera and didnt want to come out, you can jsut about see her behind the male in the last pic.

Well thats my little update done Had to share him, he's magnificent. Such a character aswell. Hopefully i'll get a little more active again on the forum, the advice on here betters that from my own country half the time, certainly for the planted tanks anyway (Im in the UK)
