What about the water parameters? What will be the range of good water parameter for CRS? My tank water PH always hover around 7.0 - 7.4, but all seems ok.

As long you keep A grades and above, ph of 7 and above the color will fade, it will be better to keep them between 6.2 to 6.8 range

The right water parameters and of course what kinds of food you use is also important
If keeping Exotic shrimps are easy then there will not be Exotic prices.

i think stable water parameters is more important since shrimps eat anything as long you drop it into water

they really eat everything? i am currently feeding them Mosura Specialty CRS Food.. But i break it up into smaller piece because the flake is too big and they cannot finish. What kind of food is good for them? I am afraid that the leftover food will make the water condition bad..
Just to check with all the pros here as i m a newbie. I am keeping Sakura, CRS & Bee Shrimps (if i m not wrong) together in a small tank, there shouldnt be any problem right?

i think as long they eat, fish food also can as i am feeding them , as long it sinks to the bottom most likely they will eat it

Crystal Red: then what about the leftover food which they cannot finish as the food is very big piece. I have to break it into smaller pieces, but they also seldom finish but left some on the tank bed. I guess my water condition might be the cause of my CRS & Bee shrimp's color being not vibrant i think.

Remove the food if they do not finish it within 2 hours.

i think its better if u remove the coconut husk if not you have to dig out the leftover piece everytime you feed, it might cause stress to the shrimps.

Thanks for all your advices.. They cannot seems to finish the Mosura Specialty Food. I tried breaking them into small pieces & only give them 2 small pieces, but still they cannot finish.. i think the only way is to purchase more shrimps!! haha...

I think it will be better to feed once every two days as to ensure your shrimps will finish the food given.
