    The pro is that is has more surface area for good BB to build up and this will better control the water parimeters. The cons is that after a year or 2 you might need to revamp the tank again because the soil might get clog up under the filter.

    oh... a year or 2 and i need to revamp? that might be a problem.. thanks goody bro.. think i need more research in order to try make undergravel but can prevent clog.. haiz...
