Will Nana plant still grow if all the leaves are all trim off and left the stem(still green) and root?

wow, that was drastic. what makes you want to do so?

I once trimmed my nana down to a few small young leaves because the bigger leaves are diseased. The plant still managed to regenerate. But the new shoots/leaves seem to branch out from the main stem (not sure if it is the right term to use). Those small stems where the leaves have been cut will slowly turn yellow and die off.

Yes it will grow with just the rizome. But nana takes time to grow. So the process may takes a long time.

Does it mean it is better to cut away the those stems also and leave just the rizome so that the decay won't reach the rizome?

It is always good to trim nana every now and then to encourage new growth. However, it is not advisable to trim all leaves, it is suggested to leave a few to help with photosynthesis and growth. The plant will still survive with only rhizomes but will take longer time to grow new leaves.

What is the difference if i just leave the leaves to decay and drop off or trim off is better?

Actually, i leave the rotting leaves as they are and my shrimps will go munch on them every now and then. If you want that clean look then you may want to remove dead leaves for asthetic reasons.
