hmm...mine all hairgrass...in process of growing only.my tank 2 ft height x 2 ft length.i tink...abt 20+ gallon.so i guess a 55 PL or 55 FL should be just rite?issit vinz?

PLs/FLs over 2 feet tanks are not as bad as made out to be. I'm not sure about very light demanding plants like riccia or glosso, but I'm growing Echinodorus quadricostatus and Sagittaria subulata in my 2 feet tall tank with 2.5wpg.
Your choice of foreground plants are slightly limited, but there are many other plants to use.
