    Tank: 5ftx2ftx2ft (95% filled)
    Light: 5ft light - 4xT5 HO @80Watts each
Plants: Mainly moss (Xmas, US Fissidens, Zipper moss, Pellia, Riccia).
All is newly tight on DW and still adjusting. No soil used
    CO2: 1bubbles every 2-3secs
Lifestocks: 19 small Altum Angels (50 cents coin size) + 100 tetras (mixed of Cardinals + Rummynose).
    Temp: 24-26 (using chiller)
    pH: 5.8

I switched on only 2 out of the 4 tubes thus having only 160W or about 1.2 WPG.

    Questions:
    1. Is 1.2 WPG enough for Moss? Do note the light is a T5 HO (High Output)
    2. Is the CO2 enough? I need to balance this right as there are lots of lifestocks in the tank.

Most of your plants can do well with low light (except Riccia). Large tanks like yours are not subject to the WPG rule (use it as an estimate only).

How are you diffusing your CO2? It does not seem to be sufficient in such a large tank like yours.

IMHO I would also encourage the use of a CO2 reactor if only from the perspective of improved efficiency.

You should use a drop checker to help monitor if the CO2 level is sufficient or not.

once again. just a personal preference.

    Re: Enough CO2 + light?

A reactor would usually provide a higher CO2 dissolve rate, but it also depends on the filter you are using to drive it. For display, a glass diffuser looks elegant and classy.

A drop checker would provide a better reading for whether you have sufficient dissolved CO2 in your water.

Are you adding anything to your water to make it acidic? Your current CO2 level should not be sufficient to drive it to 5.8.

filter is 2260 canister, outlet is using J bar to blow the water just below the water surface.
ok i will buy a drop checker (the one like a mini light bulb, right)
    what's the range i shd aim to? 10-20ppm, 20-30ppm?

i do not want to harm the livestock... at nite i switch on my airpump, just in case not enough oxygen.

Yes, the one like a light bulb - CO2 Glass - Drop Checker Set Aim for 30ppm.

    Re: Enough CO2 + light?

Ben, Thanks. I bought similar like the one you posted. it is light green so i presume the CO2 concentration is good.

Also the pH is quite low, probably due to # of livestock, CO2 and minimal surface agitation? I did not purposely bring it down, ie. no blackwater, ketapang leave nor pH down solution used.

I read in the forum that moss does not need fertilizer, however i hv some seachem fluorish, planning to dose some (under half the recommended doze). do u think it's necessary?
