a couple of pictures should get the expert here to identify it.
Anyone experience their tank infested with somewhat could be living creature... Oval/round shape, transparent white in color with the centre more to the whitish and has a black dot in the centre? We are not sure if it moves but the whole tank is with that and eeks... What to do? How to clean it? Gonna be a challenge since our tank is full of babies...![]()

Alrighty. I will attempt to get a few shots tonight
I wonder if you have flatworms (planaria)?
See below thread for more info.

5 feet planted discus tank, turquoise, melon, leopard, blue diamond. Two 1 feet Shrimp tanks with FRS & CRS.
Here's some snap shots. Sorry for the poor quality but you can vividly make out the shape of the creature. Anyone can advise on what it is and how to get rid of it given consideration that the tank is filled with shrimplets.. Thanks

They are just seed shrimp. It means that your tank water quality is great. Don't worry too much da jie.

It thought those things are snails.. So hard to get rid. I have lots of them in my nano tank![]()
eh alan, seed shrimp means water quality good? I didn't know that.. lol..
Btw, I have them in my tank too.. but since they are harmless, I just don't care.. but planaria wise trying to rid them lol..
Hi MrsBullterrier08,
It's quite difficult to make out exactly what they are from your fotos. But since you mentioned that they hardly move, it's more likely to be lympets than seed shrimps. Lympets are a type of snail, harmless though. Can be a headache to rid the tank of it once a population boom has occurred. You can control them by picking/sucking it out with a tube, snare them with lettuce traps or use of chemicals or predators (mini Puffer fish, loaches, etc.) However the last 2 methods are not safe for shrimps though.
You can check this website to confirm what type of "bug" you have in your shrimp tank. The photography is good.

Okie. So I reckon its ok to leave them there though we will try our best to remove as much as possible. As hubs says that if we were to on the tank light, you will see alot of them but soon they will disappear le. zzzzzzzzz They look like beetle like creatures like melon seeds Lolz. I dont tink putting chemical is a gd idea since we are dunno how many baby shrimps in there and tey are still producing like nobody's business
PS: Sorry for the super lousy pics ya. My photography skills totally cannot make it bleah
I was browsing the web furnished by Ebi... Seems to be limpets or seed shrimps tbough![]()
if they swim around - they are seed shrimps
if they move slowly like snails - they are limpets.
