I stand to be corrected. Your foreground plant seems to be Crypto Parva and the fish is Golden 白云山, white cloud mountain minnow, a very hardly and nice fish.

Yeap that's parva. Nice foreground! You must have spent a lot on those parva.
Beautiful scape! Hmm... Wonder if you can keep some fire red shrimps in there.
The shrimps would be quite at home grazing amongst the prava.
5 feet planted discus tank, turquoise, melon, leopard, blue diamond. Two 1 feet Shrimp tanks with FRS & CRS.
No problem, as you can see from my signature that I have both the plant and fish as you.

looks more like rummy nose tetra to me as it seems that its the head that is red, not the tail. i might be wrong though.
You can call me Luc.
planted between the crypto parva is another unknown plant. does anyone knows what is it?
here are some pictures of the bigger crypts

oops, think i made an unnecessary comment. couldn't really spot any minnows in the picture, my bad. i own the same minnows and never seen such "open mouth" syndrome before. only time 1 of them couldn't close its mouth was with a pellet too big for it to swallow.
did a search on the net for you, came up with this. http://www.fishlore.com/fishforum/fr...th-dyeing.html same thing happened to one of the forumer's fishes which include white cloud mountain minnows. seems like it might be contagious or might not be. maybe you should quarantine the fish first just in case?

Crypt in the background is most probaby wendtii 'green'. And your foreground plant might be 'X willisi'. They might all be the same plant. Difficult to differentiate when they are still in emersed form. i stand to be corrected though.
