    Hi guys, the watts per gallons measurement refers to which unit of measurement, Imperial or US? Thanks in advance

    In US gallon....note that the watts/gallon thingy does not apply to metal halides.

    US gallons, take your measurement in cc and divide by 3785. can also buy 4D and see.

    The light output per watt for MH and PL and FL is pretty close.

    Using Lumens per watt as a guide... all of them falls around the 70-90 lm/W range.

    You won't be too far off using the w/gal guide on MH. Anywy w/gal is supposed to be a rough guide.
