I think is hard to know the actual date for the eggs hatched. The most important u always have a good birth cycle on your tank. Ha!!!
If u have time to monitor your female shrimps please share the actual time with us. HA!!!!!!HA!!!!!!

Well actually after they are hatched they can be seen but you have to really have to stress your eyes to find where are they.

It can be visible once they are hatch.....but need to really stress and focus your eyes...
After 2-3 days...they will be more visible as their color will be shown by then...
They can move and swim around once they are hatch but normally they prefer to hide and observe the environment for a few days before they start crawling and swim around...

Well if your tank have little hiding place, you might be able to see them once they hatch.

Try to comb the area where the mama shrimp usually rest. Somewhere nearby there will be some shrimplets there on the first day. On the 3rd day from my experience, they are moving area but their movement is very slow.

will the shimplets die off while the parents carrying them
I witness birth of the shrimplets today.....it's like the mama shrimp kicking them off...
haha, actually quite to see them 1-2 day old if you turn off the lights in the room and tank lightset and try to shine those led torch light in the tank. they will be very striking against the green back ground of moss or plants.
1-2 day old shrimplets will look a bit dull. But 1-2 weeks later, their colour will begin to show.
few reason which might cause the eggs to drop :
sudden change of water parameter/temperature
bellied female feels threaten/stress and kick off the eggs

nope .didn't saw any . think the female kick off the eggs .
sad thing is she die after 2 days i saw her without eggs.
From my own observation, the first day she release them you can actually spot them if you are lucky to see them free swimming around the tank and floating along the water current. They are colourless as now but will coloured up after 2 days. last saturday I saw the free swimming and on monday the little shrimplets started to show the colour bands already.
Not easy to spot them especially if you got alot of hiding place for them like thick moss stuffs around the tank. But by switching off the light set near the front and have a light source at the back of the tank on, it will force them to the front tank and making spotting easier this way.![]()
