Hi,
Assisting a colleague to get a 3ft T5 hanging light. Most LFS sell lights but no accessories to hang the lights to a pole.
Can any one recommend? ADA is out as it is too expensive.

Use fishing stainless steel leader wire and collar sleeve, they can hang from few kg's to as much as >100kg. Get those 7x7 wire stainless steel, they use 7 wire twisted into 1 wire, higher tensile strength. Cheap and good. Most fishing shop sell them.

You looking for light sets, hanging kits or rails from which the lights could be hung?
If you're looking for rails, you might want to check out this DIY thread.
If you want commercially available light rails, I saw some at Biotope before, but that was before they shifted to their most recent address, might want to call up and ask before you make the trip.

He was looking for light sets. Something not too expensive. He saw a Dymax light set with the hanging kit (i think wires) on their website. So far not available in the LFS.
