Hi, just bought one set of CO2 equiment from C328 a few days ago....It was working fine until today, I discovered that it was not functioning..

The main valve reading is still 1000psi whether i close it or on it.. whereas the small one is at ard 10-20 psi.. no "click" sound when i on or off the power supply..

Is the solenoid out of order or did i miss anything.?

Brand of Solenoid is Ocean Free.. Any recommendations for a better one if this was the case.. I dont mind topping up a bit for the exchange..I just want a reliable set and not too expensive one.. Thanks..

there is a high chance that the solenoid or the solenoid valve may be faulty.
is the solenoid warm after being switched on for a while? be careful as it may be hot to touch.
did you check whether co2 is flowing when you switch on the solenoid?
if there is no co2 flowing, it would be better to bring it back to c328.

No flow whether on or off.. no click sound.. anyway.. got it changed at C328.. confirmed solenoid spoilt.. will try out and monitor for a few days..

Anyway, how long will i see pearlings appearing on the aquatic plants?

My tank is 1.5 ft using one 11W PL lighting; temp about 27 degree.. i on timer for light and CO2 from 7pm to 12am.

    Thanks..

with only 11W you might not even see any peraling

Pearling happen only if the rate of O2 produce by plants are faster than the rate of O2 disolve into the water. In order to increase the rate of O2 produce, you need to increase the plants metabolishme. In other word need higher light wattage. WIth higher wattage you will need fert and CO2.
