just wondering whether any of u seen this particular shrimp that seems to be filtering particles off the water and put it into its mouth.. the supposedly claws have been replaced with cone shaped filtering devices.. very interesting.. any idea what it is called? will it do well in planted tank? or filterless planted tank?

i use to have them, and they like strong current.
But in the end i give it away, as they can grow quite big.
Harmless, but don't look nice when too big.[]

filterless tank, you'll see them start scavenging on the gravel
and don't use powerheads in your tank to create current for them
if they crawl in, say bye bye

C328 has them on occasion. I had 2 until they died (looking like freshly cooked prawn) , after I bought my heater. so I believe they take temp <=28.
