    Hi all,
I'm sourcing for a 3ft 2x36W PL light. What is the average price for it and where can I find the best price and variety on these lights??

    Many thanks

    hi there,

You have to ask for the Kelvin of the light. Plants to use 6500K are the best. There are many kinds of Daylight on the Commerical markets so you have to ask for the 6500K.

Daylight does refer to the colour temperature of 6000K~6500K which is suitable for planted tank.

    Colour temperature:
    Warm white - 2700K~3000K
    Cool white - ~4000K
    Daylight - 6000~6500K

Think you can go down to nature to take a look.
You can also buy the parts from there and fix them yourself.
