Can consider DIY which is cheap and it works. Some discussion in the Aquatic FAQ forum under topic "How-to guide on DIY Cooling Fans".
I am currently using pl 4x36w for planted tank ... so the temp goes up to 29.9deg. I am considering getting a fan. With the prices of other fans (industrial, box) getting cheaper, which is an advisable choice for a 4x1.5x1.5ft? Will the industrial fan be too strong and cause violent surface movement? Anybody using one? Thanks

i always fighting algae but still got more
I am using 2 set of DIY 2x80mm computer fan for my 4x1.5x1.5 tank. When I reached home yesterday @ around 2000hrs, the temp was at 25.5. I am using 2x36 watt PL and 2x55watt PL.
