Where to get tanks?

Hi to all.

I might be getting new 4x2x2 or even 5x2x2 tank+cabinet in the near future and hope to hear from some forummers before making up my mind on where to get the tank. After reading past posts in AQ and a few other local forums, i figured out Soon Heng, Nature and 2 other forummers (from other forums) who are tank makers, are most recommended for local tanks. Hope to get some comments from you guys who had bought tanks from Soon Heng or Nature, about the quality of tank and cabinet, price, etc. Will appreciate any photos of the tank+cabinet from any of the tank makers. Finally, one last question, is there any difference between tanks at the 2 or 3 Soon Heng branch?

It would be good if you stick with Nature or Soon Heng (Yishun) for now.

Mine is custom made from Soon Heng (Yishun) and I'm quite satisfied with the work.

Recomendations: If you're getting the tank (from whoever), do ask for the polished edge. You'll have to pay extra but it will give you a very nice finish plus safer (can get cut).

any places to recommend to getting cabinet tanks for marine setup? what about custom built shelves that houses the tank.

bluezing: Wow.. It's quite amazing to see 30 pages of replies to the recommendation of the shop mentioned and so many tanks ordered by the forummers there, the shop must have been really good. But it seems like that shop don't make cabinets and most of the guys get tanks with IOS on stands from them. Have you deal with the shop before? Maybe you can tell me whether they do make cabinets? Thanks.

David: Is there any difference between Soon Heng at Yishun and Soon Heng at Redhill? I see Soon Heng (Yishun) being recommended most of the time, just curious.

Sherchoo: Saw your MH lights at another thread and they are really inspiring! BTW, is the tank in the MH lights pictures made by Soon Heng (Yishun)?

have called up b4 to enquire.have to say their service is really outstanding.but din order from them in the end..cos i got a 2nd hand tank super cheap.another point to note is their after sales service.its really gd.as for cabinets...i really dun know/maybe u wanna call them to ask?then u can get to experience the wonderful service also.

Get the tank at Soon Heng at Yishun and speak to Jessie.....Sherwin...you now agree that polished edge is good....hehehehhee[]
