Bro, the the most difficult question, I honestly don't know how to answer. Will let you know when I dismantle the tank and weight all the rocks . It should be pretty soon but I have not get any inspiration yet .

You can still get those right hand rocks from midory, I went there couple of days ago, still have plenty. I have not seen this type of rock at NA or C328 lately. Biotop sometime also have.

I use flat type because I want to stack few layer. It will give more depth. Also I need space for flame chopstick and spiky moss at the front.

You are too modest. This is a very good scape which should be top 100 in my lousy 1 year old planted tank experience. And you are generous enough to share the technique to create this scape from scratch.

    Wink A professional tank lor...

Hi Robert, probably I am the only one.

First thing first - the tank is nice. It is definitely coming from someone with wealth of knowledge in aquascaping. And hats off to you - you just keep practicing. Spare tank already this type of high standard

Good words aside..Two things I notice immediately..

The two corners far-side - the pointing stone doesn't seem to blend with the rest of the rocks.

The rectangle area - I can feel it is clean, man-made and artificial. However, I am sure you will do something to it.. or wait for it to overgrown.

Just my 2 cents. I am sure you already know the inherent signs. Everyone say nice. it is no fun. This tank is definitely nice. But I think I just want to help by commenting. I try to put in some effort. haha..you know my link to my tank. you can comment too.. haa..

    Re: My newbie tank

There is a reason why I said can't make to top 1000 and your comment is spot on

The river is too clean, it was my mistake, I should have take the photo before and after trim :P. Your comment on rock also spot on in fact I do not like the whole left hand side rock formation

The photo also not good, the background over exposed too much. Actually I already manually set to minimum 1/128 power + diffuser + 2 layer of facial tissue paper and yet still over exposed. I can't play around with exposure and shutter speed because the front part become too dark. . OK lousy photographer

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the encouragement. Without encouragement from AQ member I probably giving up long time ago.
