    Why does some Cherry has a stripe on their back from head to tail?
    Also, this Cherry seem to have a coat on it back.
    Old Cherry???

    I never realize that they can be like Gorilla with the dominate male having the silverback.

    Does this applies to sakura too??? I'd one with similar stripe from head to tail and it's a female (I think)...

    Hi,

    this strip appears only on females (possibly on males too, but very very very rarely) and not on alpha males. It is normally found on the larger and more mature females. It also appears on all variants of neocaridina heteropoda, including cherry, sakura, fire red, green and yellow. However, in green shrimps, the stripe will be light green, and in yellow, the stripe will be golden. dont worry, this is normal, there is nothign wrong with the shrimp.

    Somehow I know 5rthat Eviltrain was joking.
    If I am not wrong, it only happen to some mature shrimps and not all, depending on the gene.

    That look more like caridina sp "Malaya" or malayan shrimps.

    No, they are confirm wild form of cherries. i learnt it the hard way, they interbred with my red cherries

    Wild form = feed oscar, arrowana, discus.
