How much PH can a piece of driftwood bring down? Anyone have experience on this?

Definitely this depend on the size of tank and driftwood.
Let take a 2FT tank for example, water PH 7 and maybe a 15cm long driftwood.

Wondering is it even possible to measure by this mean, as different driftwood may vary in quality?

Hi pal! =) in my opinon, i don't see drift wood could brings down alot in Ph. if now yours ph7 it maybe bring to, ph 6.9 - 6.95
As i m using ph meter. it shows like that only. that's way it doesn't brings down alot in ph. perhaps u may use peat to bring down to ur desire ph? =) jus my 2 cents. thank you
