    any one knows how good is electrical co2 system? the kind that uses carbon plate and stainless plate to produce co2. thinking of using it for my new tank. does it really produece usable co2 for aqautic plant?

    Spend your money on a pressurised cylinder system instead. The carbon plate system is nothing compared to a pressurised CO2 cylinder.

    I still have my old one! Find it too expensive to replace the carbon plate. Moreover, not easy to find. Usage seems to be faster oso! CO2 control rate is difficult, looks as if a lot of it is goin to waste! Conclusion: Dun buy!

    If you still insist, I'll gladly sell you mine at half price. But you will need to replace the CO2 plate!

    so.. looks like i need to get 1 more cylinder for my next tank
    cant hook up with my old tank cos it will be right across the room. any way thks guys.
