I have been reading about breeders in Germany feeding their apistos cyclopeeze to enchance the colours. Wondering if any of the members here have tired it? Is it available in our local LFS?

So far, I have been feeding frozen bloodworms and NLS pellets. Was thinking of trying this.

Also, how do those german breeders achieve such nice colouration?

Is it those frozen types which marines keeper use to feed their marine fish?

freeze dried not so good, as they tend to float

you will have to soak it for hours for all to sink

try to get frozen type, 100g $10-$15

can get from marine LFS in pasir ris

I've used cyclopeeze before, both the freeze dried and flake type. I like the flake type.

As for how Germans achieve such red colouration in their apistos, it's due to line breeding
