    Hello,

    I have a Co2 checker in my tank...
    i noticed that the solution is kind of smelly when i changing the solutions
    Is it normal?

    the checker always show blue although i am having 4 DIY Co2 1.5L bottle in my 55 litres tank..
    Wondering is my co2 is still lacking after install so many bottle of Co2.....

    bro are you talking about the solution in the co2 checker or your diy co2 solution?

    the co2 checker solution is only a few ml, does it really give off that bad a smell?

    p.s. if the solution is blue despite adding so many bottles of co2, perhaps the dissolve rate needs to be improved. may i suggest you use an internal reactor driven by a powerhead (used items for both will set you back less than $15 or even less than $10 if you're lucky) so the co2 is fully dissolved into the water.

    thank for your advise.
    i refering to the solution in the checker ...when i was clearing the solution , it smell bad haha
    by the way i using tank water + test reagent solution (ANS) into the checker...
    i also want to buy the CAL indicator solution at clementi but out of stock !@$ haha

    meantime i using two method of diffusing the co2 as attached..
    1 overturn cap method
    2 Powerhead method (don't know whether i got place correctly bo)
